Shenzhen, China – May 2025 In a landmark move to accelerate scientific innovation and industrial transformation, JBRplas, a leading precision tooling and molding company, has partnered with Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) (HIT Shenzhen) to foster deep industry-academia integration.



During a formal signing ceremony attended by key stakeholders, JBRplas and HIT (Shenzhen) committed to long term cooperation, leveraging their respective strengths in advanced manufacturing and cutting-edge research. The event was co-organized by the Shenzhen Federation of Industry and Commerce and featured remarks by Vice President Prof. Zhang Qinyu, who presented HIT’s strategic roadmap for education-industry synergy.

Prof. Zhang Donglai, a professor from HIT’s School of Intelligence and a PhD supervisor, showcased breakthrough research projects, demonstrating the university’s strong innovation capabilities. Entrepreneurs, including JBRplas representatives, held indepth discussions with HIT’s four major academic units—Information, Intelligence, Frontier, and Future Schools—focused on technology transfer, product co-development, and market-driven research.



Participants explored opportunities for collaboration through lab visits and immersive demonstrations. A highlight was the live interaction with a humanoid robot developed by HIT, sparking lively exchanges on its potential applications in smart manufacturing and automation.
